We think The Innovative Library Classroom (TILC) is pretty great, but don't take our word for it! Check out these comments from previous conference evaluations:
This was my first time attending TILC. I learned so much! This was really valuable as a recent library school graduate. I appreciate the opportunity allowed by a smaller conference to network and engage with presenters in a very direct way. I definitely plan to return!
If you are an instruction librarian, these are your people! I love the spirit of creativity, innovation and sharing that this conference offers to librarians who are teachers.
I love the intimacy of TILC. Because it is a small conference in number of attendees, I feel like I learn more in a more relaxed environment that the huge conferences, where I spend time rushing around from one thing to another. My only complaint is that I usually want to attend all three sessions during every hour!
This was my first time at the conference, and I fully plan to make it a regular scheduled conference. It is convenient, affordable, and definitely worth my while! Thank you for an excellent conference!
TILC is my favorite conference of the year. It's organized well, by great people, and I always learn something new from every presentation I attend!
This was such a great conference! Good speakers on a variety of relevant topics and a great opportunity to network and learn from librarians around the country. I will definitely attend again!
This conference was phenomenal, all of the details were taken care of it. The presentations were all interesting and got out so much! Thank you!!!
I look forward to TILC every year! Each time I attend, I learn new ideas that are actionable and easy to adapt to my work environment. I appreciate the opportunity to meet other librarians across the state who have an interest and passion about library instruction.
TILC is probably the friendliest, most useful, most awesome conference I've ever attended!
This was my first time attending TILC, and I can't wait to go back. The size was perfect, the sessions were fabulous, and the people were just lovely. 10 out of 10, would attend again.
...and from some nice emails we received:
Congratulations on a wonderful conference. You did a great job with the organization and the details – I heard one person comment that she’d never been to a conference where so much good information was shared prior to the meeting. Every program I attended was a winner. I especially enjoyed the lightning talks, and judging by how many folks stayed around after an, admittedly, long day so did everyone else. Thanks. Looking forward to the next one.

I wanted to thank more personally the other steering committee members and you for such a great conference. TILC has to be one of the best conferences I ever attended. As Monique Clark of NVCC said to me, next to the content, the things that made TILC so great were 1) it was a “local” conference; 2) it was a focused content area, and 3) the limited number of attendees. The conference was very well run. You all did a great job.
